As the College marks the 25th anniversary of the Radley Foundation, this Radley Then & Now event will explore the long tradition of generosity and service that has shaped Radley for nearly two centuries.
College Archivist, Clare Sargent, will trace the history of philanthropic giving at the College – from the earliest donations that helped establish Radley, to initiatives such as the Mission in Wapping and the Social Services activities remembered by many Old Radleians
We will also hear from colleagues involved in the College’s partnerships work today, and reflect on the role of the Radley Foundation in supporting bursaries and widening access to a Radley education.
As with all Radley Then & Now events, this session forms part of an ongoing oral history project. We warmly invite Old Radleians and members of the wider community to join the discussion and share their memories.
